Volvo Redblock to 8HP70 N57 Adapter Kit

Adapter kit for fitting BMW 8HP 45/50/51/70/75/76 gearbox to Volvo Redblock engine.

The adapter plate and torque converter adapter are made from high-grade aluminum and anodized (natural or black) for a premium feel and finished look.

Adapter plate thickness: 23 mm

Features

The adapter has three different bolt patterns, allowing installation in both normal tilted position and zero tilt for all N57-style gearbox housings:

• 8HP45 N47

• 8HP50 B37 / B48 / B58 etc.

• 8HP51 B58

• 8HP70 N57

• 8HP75 B57

• 8HP76 B57 / S58

Additionally, the adapter has a third bolt pattern for 8HP45 N55 and N20/N26 gearboxes in a normal tilted position
(requires a separate N55 or N20/N26 TC-Adapter add-on for full bolt-on installation).

Required flexplate

Use Volvo flexplate:

• 6842012 (with built-in trigger ring)

• 1326336 (without trigger ring)

The kit also includes newly manufactured Volvo parts for flexplate installation:

• 1336913 – guide sleeve

• 463088 – flange

The torque converter adapter has 8 mounting holes.
Optionally, 4 additional holes can be drilled for better clamping force.

The adapter kit includes:

• Volvo Redblock → 8HP N57 adapter plate

• Torque converter adapter

• Mentioned flexplate parts

• Mounting hardware (bolts and dowel pins)
